Some financial questions Congress might want to ask
1. If there is a credit crisis, why aren't there margin calls everywhere? How many have there been this week and why?

2. Which businesses can't get bridge financing? How much and which industries?

3. Why was there a huge jump in the personal savings rate in the 2Q 2008? Where did that money go? Why isn't it cycled into the credit system?

4. How does $1 trillion in more debt translate into a healthier long-term economy?
