The Democrats Should Permit Bush/Paulson's Bill to Go To Both Floors For a Vote.
Before the Democrats get sucked into drafting the first "bail-out" bill to be voted on, Reid and Pelosi should honor the proposal that Bush and Paulson have indicated they want as a bill. Then the vote could come, Democrats could vote it down saying they will be providing a bill with more safeguards, more payback to the taxpayers, no golden parachutes, etc.

This would force the Republicans in Congress to vote up or down on the Bush and Paulson proposal.

We are being duped into making this a Democratic Party Bail Out Bill.

Tell Bush and Paulson to find some Republicans to sponsor their proposals as a bill and then put it out on the floor of the Senate and Congress and vote on it.
