COLORADO! Obama rocking the polls
Just took a look at the latest polls out of my home state of Colorado and the RCP average now has Obama up here by 4. Obama 48.4 McShame 44.4! Latest results are PPP Obama 51, McSame 44-1084 LV 09/20-09/21; Quinnipac/WSJ/WP Obama 49, McSame 45-1418 LV 09/14-09/21.

Colorado Team Obama totally ROCKS!!! Considering we could be this years "Ohio" and the final nail in the McCain coffin, this is awesome!

2. Any more news on the shake-up at the SOS office about the director of elections?
Are you worried that the Republican SOS (apparently a right-wing evangelical) has control of voting there and is also running (for Congress, I think)?

3. I think that you are referring to the contract
between the SOS (Coffman-and yes republican, conservative, winger, running for congress in district 6) and a guy named Paulsen who is providing ballot info to counties and provide data reports from the November elections. There is a conflict of interest with Paulsen and a top SOS employee (personal relationship of some kind). They are saying that because of the timing, it's too late to terminate his contract and that the SOS employee in question had no dealings with the contracts.

Am I worried? Yes, but, that just means we have to extra hard and get an even bigger lead here. latest polls out of Colorado have been promising and steady.

7. It really looks bad to have the SOS in charge of the vote also running for higher office.
Although I know it happens all the time. I guess it all depends on the openness and fairness of the election procedures.

4. Any news on Larimer County in particular?
Have several friends and family members voting there and I'd love to see it go blue for once.

6. I don't know about Larimer
I'm in the reddest of red counties, El Paso. I don't have any break downs by county, sorry!
