If Palin isn't competent enough to field a press conference,
how can she be competent enough to field the duties of a president? And Captain Obvious says - she's not.

1. Captain Obvious is 100% correct. If she can't face the press, how will she stare down our enemies?

2. What makes you think that she would be making any decisions
if she became president. You don't think that the NeoCons actually plan to ask her to participate.

3. She's still in VP school, cut her some slack
She's learning how to identify world leaders and make small talk. Soon it will be on to how to make small talk in front of reporters and not say anything.

4. She would say she is, since she can see the reporters. n/t

6. And, if she isn't competent enough to field a press conference,
she isn't qualified to participate in a debate about foreign policy. Perhaps this VP debate will be the first ever to be conducted without reporters, with no audience and no TV coverage. Whatever it takes to keep her looking good.

7. Why doesn't Obama or Biden ask this question?
Maybe because they're aware of the low expectations game and how it works. I'd like to think there is a strategic reason for it, rather than incompetence or a lack of courage.
