7. With Biden saying those things
about Roosevelt on television in 1929, this hardly looks like a big deal.

10. I see your point
I mean, a written press release versus extemporaneous speaking in front of a live camera. Wait, no I don't see the point at all. Oh wait, I think I see your point after all. But if you comb your hair just right, it won't be quite so obvious.

17. I found it. There's no comparison.
Biden made a valid point. He was comparing FDR's comments about the 1929 crash to McCain's comments about this current crisis. Both FDR and McCain were running for president at the time, and were discussing what their response would be to the crisis if they were elected. That's a very valid comparison.

Biden misspoke when he made it sound like FDR spoke "on television." Obviously, television wasn't an optin at the time. If you look carefully at his words, it's clear he was talking about what McCain said "on television" and comparing it to what FDR said at the time, as reported by print sources.

Look at the difference between the two men's plans. As a candidate for president, FDR had a plan for recovering from the disaster of 1929, and when he was elected, he put those plans to work, with remarkable success. McCain, in contrast, has no plan. After decades of "experience" in the senate, shouldn't McCain have a plan to deal with this?

In fact, McCain and his cronies helped create this mess.
