When you register AFTER a primary, just register REPUBLICAN
They are the ones who love to purge lists, and mis-direct mailings..but they only target Dems..

Tell them how much you love the republican party and to be sure and send you lots of literature..(make them waste postage and employee time.

A pleasant side-effect is that if enough people do this, it really skews their numbers and messes up their planning..

3. Cute idea but has problems..
We will assume on campaigns that you are Republican and won't knock on your door or work you to get you to vote. This only makes sense for the most gung ho Dem not for rank and file who aren't particularly motivated so it really doesn't do much to stop "caging".

i don't want people to think I am a registered Republican.

In college there was one guy everyone was mean to--one of the things we would whisper about him was "he's a registered republican"
no idea if it was true--but damn I don't want folks to say it about me!
