John Stewart is Brilliant! |

Nobody else has been able to draw Bill Clinton out like that in an interview in a very long time. He helped him express himself like nobody else has been able to do. I saw the Clinton I used to see way back when. Hopefully he'll be showing up everywhere for the next 5 weeks.

I'm sure some of that criticism was driving Clinton's cheerleading.

2. Y'know, I kinda don't think Clinton pays as much attention to Chris Rock as we do. |

That kind of tunnel-visioned micro-intensity is not shared outside our world. It's not as if his comments set the world on fire, just DU.

3. Oh, I'm sure Bill knew all about Rock's |

comments by this morning. Political figures can't afford to be that out of the loop.

4. But it wasn't much of a loop if it was only causing an uproar here. |

And I believe that was the case. I don't think most people heard Rock's kibitzing the way avid DUers did. The manic-depressive "He's evil! No, he's great!" rhythms that typify DU and other partisan boards aren't going on much "out there," thankfully.
