Question for Numbers Guys - Total Mortages Written since 2005/2006
I've looked, but I just don't know where to find a good source for this.

I'm looking for the value of home mortgages written since 2005 and/or 2006. If I can find yearly number that would even be better.

I just want to find out the value of home loans these banks have been giving out each year.

1. I Spent Some Time Looking for Those Statistics
Couldn't find them anywhere, and it didn't work to beat insomnia either. :smoke:

Were you trying to ascertain what fraction of all recent mortgages the bailout plan would cover? That is an interesting question. Let me know if you find an answer.
