no one wants to walk the path that we're going to have to walk. No one, except perhaps the Bergermeisters, who will be largely unaffected and will, in fact, profit.
People who work for a living, people who run small/medium-sized businesses, sure as hell don't want this to happen.
There's nothing fun about this. It is, however, necessary. We've been running a ponzi scheme for 40+ years now, and it will only get worse if we continue to play.

5. Looks like the FBI has decided to investigate |

Gee, was there any criminal wrongdoing in any of these companies? Where did all the money go? Billions and billions of dollars didn't vanish in the last week; who's been looting America? Should we find that out before we pour more Treasury dollars into this alleged crisis?

Every time the maladministration pushes this hard for anything, it turns to shit in a matter of weeks and gives the rest of U.S. a terminal hangover.
Wall Street has proved - in dramatic fashion - that they can't handle money. Why in the Hell would we want to throw more $$$ than most of us can conceive of to them?

Great photo. I have been laying here so depressed with a back ache and watching the Congress getting ready to start the worlds largest vacuum cleaner to suck up health care, housing, and living wage jobs. I was optimistic after travelling to Denver and getting through the neocon (spelled NAZI) state at the RNC. But now their whole plan is relized ala Shock Doctrine. What a bunch of idiots we and our represenitibes are. They put in a papragraph about no oversite which they know won't fly, then they get everything they want from Schumer and Frank who will claim to be heroes for getting "oversite". The same lying, fear mongering that got us into Iraq. 11 trillion in debt will kill all progress. The only thing that will stop it is 10,000,000 on the streets of Washinhton. So run it through fast before the people can organize. Having sail that there is still some hope somewhere. To hell with Schumer and Frank. They are nothing but whores for Wall Street and bankers. The people will prevail in the end.
