Hey Dems, this IS about the election. |
|
This is all politics by the Bush and the Republicans. Don't play the "above politics " game, while they use this to keep the White House and their Seats in Congress. If you go through with this with out regard to it's political ramifications, you will get your asses kicked. Just stop it now and get back to this crap after the election. The country will still be here.

1. You have an upside-down view of the political ramifications |

Failure to act big will not be tolerated by the electorate.

The way I see it this is just a $700 bil giveaway to Wall Street with no guarantee that it will fix anything. Another "Bold" bush move that screws everything up.

2. If the Repubs and Dems agree on the most crucial issues, what urgency is there to vote for one over |
|
the other?
War on Terror. War on Drugs. Corporate Bailouts. Free trade, etc. etc.
This election is supposed to be decided on lipstick? :wtf:

4. Bushies are experts in Briar Patch Politics |

and dems usually fall for it and end up on the losing side of their issues they throw in at precipitous times in elections.. They know that republlicans are in dire straits right now, so what better plan is there than to suddenly make them all appear to be raving populists, out to stick up for the little guy...as the elite democrats stanmd by the bankers & brokers:grr:
Republicans know that most people do NOT understand finance (or why would the public be $2 TRILLION dollars in debt to credit card companies?)
They have dumbed it down again..and have forced us into a corner..vote against the bailout, and be painted as the people responsible for the meltdown..vote for it, and the repubs will run from it, claiming to be on the side of the little guy
