The pigmen did not expect so much resistance. What Congress
and the People are asking in return for the $700 billion "bailout" was not part of the agenda. They wanted to get the money THIS WEEK. Negotiating was not in their plan.

But, what was the plan that required a quick giving over of this money and what of it now?

2. This is another terror attack on the American public. The more resistance they get, the
more they're saying we're all going to die if they don't get the money.

3. Yep -- They got their way on Iraq being rammed down our throats
and they got their way on the Patriot Act being rammed down our throats ...

They forgot this is 1.5 months before an election when people are PISSED and the president is HATED.

5. Did you notice how Bernanke/Paulson were extremely nervous
yesterday after they realized it wasn't going their way? They were stuttering and stammering and then they suddenly had to go.

12. Bernanke is incredibly nervous and uncomfortable.
Paulson is a far more accomplished liar, due to his years on Wall Street.

Additionally, it is beyond convenient for the maladministration that this issue should arise the week before Congress was scheduled to break to go home to campaign. We can only hope cooler heads (all our favorites) will convince their (D) peers to question the motivation and abstain from rash decisions.

The (D) Congress needs to torture these two mouthpieces.

7. My tinfoil might be a little tight
But what if it's all a scam? What if it's deliberately outrageous in its first offer?

What if that's the whole intent? We know they lie. We know they lie about everything. They don't care about the common people -- the furniture (see Soylent Green).

But they know how to run a campaign and fool people. Is that what this is?

In any battle or negotiation or chess game, the first question to ask yourself is: why does my opponent want me over there?

What if they don't care about the money? What if the fact of the bill is the issue, not whether it passes or not. They've already protected the money and the "good people".

9. We *must* keep the pressure on OUR Congress lest they disappoint us - they are millionaires.
Their lives will all go on "just fine" regardless of re-distribution of wealth from the middle class to the upper .1%.

Damn them if they pass ANY damn bail out plan. :grr:

Tell Pelosi, "Bail out is off of the table."
