From what I can gather calls to Congress are running 99-1 against a "bail out" |

Yet Congress is still planning on doing a "bail out". What does that say about their opinion of American public? Do they think we are just ignorant uninformed goofs?

To them we are a commodity, a source of wealth and power to be sheared or slaughtered at will, and a huge inconvenience every two years.

3. I am somewhat comforted by a WAPO poll this am that says 47% approve |

43% disapprove of a "bail out" - given it's likely to happen. I wonder who those "disapprove" voters are in terms of political party affiliation?
