Just A Peek: Katie's Interview With Sarah Palin
This morning, Katie sat down with Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin in New York. In the exclusive interview, Katie asked her a wide range of questions on foreign policy and the current economic situation. We'll bring you more of what she said tonight – but for now, we snagged a clip of the interview you can check out now.

(CBS)Katie Couric: If this doesn't pass, do you think there's a risk of another Great Depression?

Sarah Palin: Unfortunately, that is the road that America may find itself on. Not necessarily this, as it's been proposed, has to pass or we're gonna find ourselves in another Great Depression. But there has to be action taken, bipartisan effort – Congress not pointing fingers at this point at … one another, but finding the solution to this, taking action and being serious about the reforms on Wall Street that are needed.

We'll be posting a video clip right here shortly, so check back!

MSNBC just played the clip.

13. It turns my stomach to defend Bush....
but this chick is much worse than Bush.

Listening to him talk pisses me off -- cliches and talking points and repetition.

The above and the other article someone posted in GDP re:Palin that write out her quotes, well, they just don't make ANY sense.

One thing the two share: they both frighten the hell out of me.

5. OH LORD! Shrub must have been coaching her! I didn't think there
were two Americans who spoke that poorly. Maybe it's an affliction of the Pubs? McNuts doesn't do any better!

7. not necessarily
The congress, at this time is, not looking. At sentence structure, you know. Unfortunately we will have a bipartisan, you know, pointing of fingers at this point at...one another. Or something.

8. Okaaaaaay....sure Sarah...
Not only are her bungled sentences strung together like gaudy flamingo lights on a run-down
trailer--she actually thinks she can tell Congress what to do and how to act--while she
isn't even capable of answering questions from the press pool.

Does she not realize how completely absurd she looks and sounds?

It's glaringly obvious that she is not qualified to give anyone advice. The fact
that she acts like she can eulogize to the entire Congress, is delusional on her part.

I can't wait until this clown in heels is sent back to Alaska.

14. Please quit disparaging flamingo lights on trailers...
I have a friend who lives in a trailer park that is forced to have flamingo light on the trailer.

The correct terminology is Flamingo Challenged Trailer...

9. When a Republican advocates "not pointing fingers" or "not assigning blame", it means
they haven't got an effective way to blame Clinton or the Dems ... yet ... and the evidence overwhelmingly is covered with Republican fingerprints.

See "9/11 Commission" ...
