No, John, this IS the time for politics!! |
|
I just heard McGoo on tv flapping his lips about "this isn't the time for politics,bi-partisanship cooperation is the *patriotic* thing to do right now and blah blah blah."
All I have to say to that, John is, FUCK YOU!!! :grr:
For years now, any time has been a good "time for politics" with the right wing noise machine going 24/7 accusing us Democrats of being everything from terrorists to 'ol Joe Stalin himself. Now that you're about to get you're ass handed to you, you want what, a "time out"? This isn't the playground in grammar school, John, this is the big leagues.
I say, no, John, it's called an election and politics and debating are what elections are about. Wall street can wait two hours while you attempt to explain the MISERABLE FAILURES of your party and your ideology that has led us to this disastrous place in history.
If you don't want to debate, fine, take your sorry ass, your redneck bitch and get the hell out, and while you're at it, take Karl Rove's "permanent republican majority" with you on the way out!!!
If you're so afraid Senator Obama is going to strip naked everything you people stand for and finally lay it bare to the American public, just go, we don't need your damn disruption of the democratic process.

1. A crisis such as this calls for more debate and discussion, not less |

we need to hear from both of them about how this should be handled,he doesn't need to duck and run out the door. Barack should lay into him about that. If he's smart about this, he should tell him he'll debate the empty chair, or he can send Caribou Barbie to stand in, but there is going to be a discussion and yes, it is going to be partisan, like it or not.

7. I sent the Obama campaign an email and called.... |
|
to say just that. This is the PERFECT time for a debate. McCain would be pushing for a debate if it were a Democratic caused problem. You would hear the RW machine calling for accountability and someone to answer for us. This campaign of "when it is convenient" is ridiculous. I just hope Obama doesn't cave and let these scoundrels off the hook. Obama has been juggling work on the economy with the campaign, and preparing for the debate at the same time. McCain hasn't been doing anything but running around reacting like a fool to everything. He knows he is sunk and so he is asking for a lifeboat. Now is the time to let the neocon ideology sink to the bottom.

8. Apparently McCain can't multi-task |
|
Can't he handle the debate and address the economic crisis at the same time? If the Obama campaign handles this right, it could backfire on McSame.

he's getting his ass handed to him as his party's policies are coming to full fruition a little earlier than planned. He knows Barack can hammer his ass with facts at the debate and neither he nor his advisors have the slightest clue what to say in retort. Stick a fork in him, he's done.

This is a pathetic ploy to stall for time and try to regroup. I heard today that his numbers are slipping, and Obama leads by as much as 9 points in some polls.
