McCain cancels radio ads nationwide.
Randi just reported that the McCain radio ads are being pulled nationwide.

Is he fleeing?

Is Mittens going to replace him?

9. I agree
There is no logical reason for him to do so, especially since the Republicans are bragging that they now have more cash on hand than the D's.

is what I think.

TO want to cancel the debate because of Wall St, OK. But to pull out of other campaign activities too?

That's way odd. :tinfoilhat:

You have to be a native born citizen. Hell, McCain's dicey on that account since he was born in the Canal Zone.

Palin has long hung with diminionists....

http://doggo.tripod.com/doggchrisdomin.html
"..snip...Women would be generally relegated to hearth and home. Insufficiently Christian men would be denied citizenship, perhaps executed. So severe is this theocracy that it would extend capital punishment blasphemy, heresy, adultery, and homosexuality.'...snip"

"...snip...Nor would most Americans reflexively embrace a "theology" that denounced all government social programs, public schools, environmental protections -- a religion that promoted mass executions for sins as minor as swearing at parents, decried democracy as heretical, relegated women to subservience, or that endorsed segregation and even the return of slavery to the United States. ...

"..snip..Put all the enemies of the Dominionists together, boil them down to liquid and bake them into the one single most highly derided and contaminated individual known to man, and you will have before you an image of the quintessential “liberal” -- one of those folks who wants to give liberally to the poor and needy -- who desires the welfare and happiness of all Americans -- who insists on safety regulations for your protection and who desires the preservation of your values -- those damnable people are the folks that must be reduced to powerlessness -- or worse: extinction.

"..snip.What would a “reconstructed” America look like under the Dominionists? K.L. Gentry, a Dominionist himself, suggests the following “elements of a theonomic approach to civic order,” which I strongly suggest should be compared to the Texas GOP platform of 2002, which reveals that we are not just talking about imaginary ideas but some things are already proposed on Republican agendas.<60> Dominionism’s concept of government according to Gentry is as follows...snip"

21. Uh, he said he was suspending his campaign. Why is this a surprise
Its not an indication that he's dropping out or being replaced. He couldn't say that he was going to suspend his campaign and go back to DC to deal with the financial crisis (he said it, not me) and still run his ads. So he's pulling them for now.

Why would anyone read more into this than that?

26. You may think he is being honest
but I don't. Saying that someone is reading into something is the same thing as saying that one shouldn't question things.

It wasn't like my post was dead serious.

24. 527s too?
Those will still be around. I'd bet on it.

Obama can pull his ads if he wants but as soon as one slimy anti-Obama 527 hits the airwaves, he should call McCain on it and run his own.

34. "Suspending a campaign" involves...well...suspending the campaign.
He'd get creamed if he called a time-out, made that ersatz call for bipartisanship, but was still running attack ads.
