just saw a clip of McCain from today - his left eye is drooping |
|
His left eye is noticeably lower than his right eye now, and it wasn't that way during the RNC. There is something seriously wrong with him.
unless it's a botched botox job, but he doesn't seem like the botox type

I noticed the the eye looked droopy today too. I really don't think he is well. I know he is mentally insane, but physically, he doesn't seem well either. It's the stress.

I just keep thinking of all the people about to get caught with their pants down and I'm afraid Mr. McCain is in this up to his eyeballs. It makes me wonder if he can't take the strain of what's about to be revealed about him.

because it sounds like I am making fun of a medical condition... But Bell's Palsy would be good. I do not wish him any serious medical problem and Bell's Palsy is temporary and not fatal or anything. But it will make him look strange. Even if they explain the condition it will people uncomfortable to look at him, will remind them of his age (although it isn't a disease of the old) and how fragile health can be at that age...and wonder more about Palin as PRESIDENT.
Way better to have than a stroke too.

51. Hey SLAD. Someone ( I don't remember who) posted a thread |
|
entitled, 'Does this man look sick to you?', and my first thought was absolutely he does. My stepfather died from lung cancer that had metastasized to his brain, but long before anyone knew he was sick, his hair changed, he was forgetful and confused. That thread reminded me of the hair, without the effects of chemo.
I'm not sure how malignant melanoma behaves, but it was familiar to me.

"A transient ischemic attack (TIA) is a stroke that comes and goes quickly. It happens when a blood clot blocks a blood vessel in your brain. This causes the blood supply to the brain to stop briefly. Symptoms of a TIA are like other stroke symptoms, but do not last as long."
(Thanks; Dad's ok for now and under orders not to drive, at least for several weeks. Going up to see him and Mom tomorrow.)

She said it was due to overwork and stress and that it would heal. It did heal.
As much as I dislike McCain I think he's suffered enough physical misery in his life. I hope he's OK.

24. Could a health issue be the reason he's trying to beg off this Friday? |
|
He has looked ashen for days now, and his eyes seem particularly sensitive to any studio or camera lights. Every time he's been on camera lately, his eyelids rapidly flip open and shut; in one instance they were absolutely fluttering (well beyond the blinking associated with one who's not telling the truth).

47. Funny how the looming question about his health has changed. |
|
First it was, "If elected, will he seek a second term?"
Then it became, "Would he last through a first term?"
Now it's "Will he make it to election day?"
At this rate (assuming he shows up Friday) it will be, "Will he exit the debate standing or in a hearse?"
My Tivo's ready.

49. I think it is simply fatigue... |
|
I went and looked at several videos of him speaking (with the sound off so I didn't start yelling at the computer) and he has had varying degrees of lag in his left eye over the past week or so. Clearly though in yesterday's speeches he was aware of this. He was intentionally doing a "bright eyed" blink throughout the speech. In fact, it was hard to watch! Today he is probably quite exhausted and it is taking its toll.
I am not trying to diminish the issue though. I think that one of the qualifications for being President is the ability to deal with long hours and high pressure. He has clearly cracked and needs to take a nap.
