This is a time for calm, level headed leadership. John McCain has given us all reason to worry that this meltdown is more serious than we have been led to believe. He will have people pulling their money out of banks tomorrow. He is not fit to lead. He has proven this today with this taudry political stunt and last ditch effort to save his tattered campaign. This is really disgraceful.

2. This is so right. McCain is eroding public confidence in the banking system, not reinforcing it.
Is he too oblivious to be aware of that, or does he just not care if he thinks it will help him win?

4. this man is not fit to be President
the most important time to confront the American people with Obama and he chooses to run to DC to fix the financial crisis, they totally insult the American people, this is not about us, it is only for the money. These people can go to hell.

8. He doesn't give a shit..
about the American people, it's all about Johnny. I saw that interview that he gave yesterday, all calm, cool, and collected, where he said he hadn't read the 3 pages of the bill yet.
