all in one freaking year.....2008. Two trillion dollars in one single year! When Bushitler leaves office, he might just hit the 9 trillion dollar mark with the twin deficits. James Buchanan is no longer "The Worst President Ever".
Edit to add: The 9 trillion dollars is the total amount of budget and current account deficits under Bush - not the total national debt.
