did you see it coming? I am not promoting him, I just watched his show for the first time and he worried me after listening for 5 minutes, wondered what DU'ers thought of this dude...after seeing the posts below, I am gathering he is not a favorite of Du'ers

Part of me thinks, you should know better than to come to a progressive board and ask us what we think of Glenn Beck. But if it's true that you haven't had much exposure to him, then I guess it can be forgiven. Occasionally Glenn Beck makes sense, and occasionally I find myself agreeing with him (maybe 8% of the time). However, the other 92% is far too obnoxious for me to tolerate.

I'd rather watch Bill O'Reilly. At least, he's unintentionally funny at times.

If you're wondering why people are rating your thread "disruptive", it's because Glenn Beck is the symbol of everything that has gone wrong with so-called "serious news channels".

24. I'm not a big fan of Glenn Beck either.

The first time I watched him, he made the comment on his show
that before McCain chose Palin as his running mate, he was
noway going to vote for McCain but now that Palin is on the
McCain ticket he will definately vote for McCain.  This was
like the day after McCain announced Palin as his running mate.
 Is he a moron or what.  He acted like he knew who Palin was
or as if she was a "Hillary Clinton" figure.  She
was unknown to me as she was to most of our country.  He
probably didn't even know who she was or what she has done. 
He's so stupid.  
He's always been a McCain promoter and an Obama basher so I
never watch his shows after that.  I always turn the channel
when people like him are on and we all should then their
ratings would drop.  Btw, I like Larry King.  He's really fair
on his show and never has bashed Obama or the dems.
