Can anyone tell me where to get Obama yard signs??? |
|
I've heard they're hard to get. Does anyone know if you can order them from Barack's website? I heard once that no one is getting orders from there. I live in Kentucky and Obama doesn't have a single office in the state, so that's not an option. I can't believe it's this hard to find a darn sign!

4. The Obama home page is a good start -- |
|
or you could go with www.cafepress.com or some of the other Democratic gear sites,
or see if your local Obama HQ will be restocking.

5. There is unprecedented demand for them. |
|
Out here in California, we're being told that the signs are going to the battleground states...
The higher priority ones...
But what I'm reading here tells me nobody has any!

11. Nope. We can't get any in Indiana. People are wanting signs here like CRAZY! |
|
...and they're upset that they can't even get any by paying for them in bulk even! I've tried. And I know people who are asking for BIG signs to put on the main drags in our little red towns. Campaign tells us "no, signs can't vote" "what we want is voter contact right now"....
I'm trying, I'm trying! 121 doors done tonight! And they're all asking where the signs are and if they can have one!

With a 3'x5' chalk board . you could probably use poster board . Tomato trellises work great to attach sign to.
I used bingo/window chalk which is a wet chalk that washes off easily yet is nice and dark .
(disclaimer the stuff called window paint does not wash off as easily as the window chalk)
Good luck .

7. I finally got TWO just yesterday. One Obama campaign offices in the region has them . |
|
The Obama campaign office nearest me hasn't had them and says that they get A LOT of people asking. (Hello? Clue phone is ringing!) The campaign office about 20 miles from me has them and my (step-)nephew picked up a couple for me. Yeah!

8. They are next to impossible to get. |
|
As the young folk tell me in the Obama office....they have a different philosophy, you know 'neighbor to neighbor' and the campaign does not go in for signs. They invest their money in the people who organize the neighbor to neighbor relations. This may work in some areas but in rural Ohio signs mean a lot. I had to do some intense phoning to get buttons and bumper stickers for our local Obama Office. Go figure.
