not using his surrogate, nea, his VP choice, for any effective reason, to perhaps bow out of the first debate, to claim he's the person to solve this economic crisis?
Let me know, because I don't see it. Why do they?

I've been hesitant to go after McBomb because he's my elder. But this cheap theater won't sit well with American voters.
Bush is going to give Wall Street exactly what they want anyway. No one needs McMore at the table. That's just stupid.
