Republicans in Washington have a habit of becoming curiously deaf to the voice of the people. They have a hard time hearing what the ordinary people of the country are saying. But they have no trouble at all hearing what Wall Street is saying. They are able to catch the slightest whisper from big business and the special interests.

2. They listen to wall street and god, because the people don’t have a clue!
And even though most republicans have never actually read the bible, they are fully convinced that, it is easier for a rich man to fit through the eye of a needle than it is for a camel to go to heaven. Hence, the philosophical reasoning behind deregulating every fucking thing under the sun, and their rabid desire to conquer the land of the camel. It is their right, and their duty.

3. It is a little harder to do when we are within 40 days of the election
The House is all up for re-election very soon. If they pass the bill with no changes, they may be in some trouble.
