McCain resorts to logic-by-panic approach to campaign

This newfound tone of gun-to-the-head urgency both Bush and McCain are now embracing is more than a little annoying. Where were they at the last several years, when Obama was calling for economic changes on any number of levels, changes that would have helped avert the crisis we now face?

Well, for one thing, Bush, McCain and other Republicans were busy trying to turn Social Security into more fodder for Wall Street speculation. Hmmmm... Does this oh-so-urgent bailout contain any means by which Wall Street can get its hands on the Social Security Trust Fund? Since there’s no time for Congress to read the entire package before voting, we may not find out what all it contains until sometime next week.

1. So, If you get a $700B bail, shouldn't their be BRINKS-manship?

How are you gonna convince people that this problem wasn't serious enough to worry about for 18 months
but that it's gonna end the financial world as we know it in 72 hours wihout BRINKS-manship?

How are you gonna get away with all that money unless you have BRINKS-manship?

This administration has had a fleet of BRINKS trucks unloading the US Treasury for nigh on 8 years.
