Note to pResident Bush: Why should Americans believe anything you say?
You, Mr. Bush, are a LIAR.

You lied to us about the war in Iraq. They had WMDs. They were harboring terrorists. They were the biggest threat to democracy. ALL LIES.

Then we were told that the war would pay for itself with lower oil prices. How's that one worked out? Gas was $1.46/gallon when you took office. Now we're thrilled to get it for under $4.00/gallon! And your buds in the executive offices of the big oil companies have just been raking in the profits under your super secret Energy Plan.

You lied to us about "Mission Accomplished."

You lied to us about your administration being involved in the outing of a covert CIA agent.

You lied to us about restoring integrity to the White House.

You lied to us about smaller government.

You lied to us about the grownups being in charge.

You've told so many lies, there's no reason to believe anything you say when you open your mouth. Do you think we've forgotten all your lies? I don't know why this Congress hasn't held you accountable for your lies, but I do hope the next administration does. I hope they investigate your actions and expose you for the traitor you are. I hope you are charged, tried, and incarcerated for your crimes.

So it's really no surprise that most Americans doubt what you said to us last night. We have no reason to believe you, and we're supposed to let the same people who created this mess get us out of it? We're supposed to trust that you and your administration are going to do the right thing for the first time in eight years?

On behalf of the American people, "Thanks, but no thanks."
