Watching more of the Palin interview by the Couric woman
Excerpts being played on the CBS Morning Show.

Okay, this has stopped being as funny as was last night's "I'll findja sum and bring 'em to ya!"

Not nearly as funny.

This woman is incompetent. Make sure all your right wing friends see this interview. I will give some credit to the Couric woman, too. She hasn't, so far, appeared to allow Palin to get by with too much. On The Morning Show, Couric referred to her subject as 'evasive' and one who quickly reverts to talking points.

Hardly high praise.

As I said, this thing appears to be so bad that it might make a nice thing to invite (without editorializing) your right wing friends over to see. Palin is so obviously out of her league it is almost painful.

Almost.

Personally, I want to see her completely humiliated and knocked out of not only national politics, but Alaskan politics, too.

5. here is my point
you suggest right-wingers will see this and change their closed, little minds over her performance and capability as a VP?

These are the same voters who yesterday suggested she take mccain's place in the debate. They firmly believe she would put obama to shame in a debate on foreign policy.

Do you think they would ever find fault with this vacuous cadidate?

6. Exactly right.
These people's minds are made up - Palin is the 2nd coming, and ANYTHING that makes her look less than freaking brilliant is the fault of the "lie-beral media".

7. these are the same people who were furious that Charlie G
would have the nerve to ask her a question about the bush doctrine without first explaining it. They are convinced it was a set-up.

14. Already happened
I haven't seen the first word of the interview, but Faux News described the 'in the tank for Barack Obama' media (Katie Couric) as 'asking all sorts of gotcha questions' and then just repeating them, while 'Sarah' (when did everyone get on first name terms with this woman?!?!) appeared strong and confident.

Newspeak '08, same as '84.

20. There's a piece of it at youtube
The sound is tinny but it seems to be the longest clip. Palin is a set of talking points in a pink blazer. She's got nothing - when asked any question involving points that aren't covered by her script, she can't even BS her way out of it. She's left flailing, repeating the memorized spiel. It's bad.

15. Thats why the VP debate will not go on!!
there is no way Mccains handlers will allow her to debate biden...it almost doesnt matter how ridiculous the excuse is they wont allow it....any bad press they get for cancelling will be orders of magnitude less then the damage that would be caused if americans actually saw her in a debate..mark my words..there will be no VP debate

17. So then Biden shows up...
Turns to Palin's empty podium, shrugs, gets a little grin on his face, and says, "Anyone have any questions?"
