I mean, really. Come on. Wall Street has its "big guns" out and they are all trained on...........me. That's what it feels like. Little ole me who played by the rules, lived thriftily, has no debt beyond my mortgage, tried to save as much as I could, try my level best to be honest and forthright in all my dealings, and a bunch of hig flying moneybags are robbing me in broad daylight on Main Street while the cop is watching. That is what is pissing me off right now. All the handwringing and wide-eyed panicking and we're being told that this lousy plan is the only one we can implement as a nation. Why the hell is that? We can't come up with a better one? And why the hell are we turning to those financial wizards that got us into this mess to come up with an answer?



P.S. Let me add one other thing that is pissing me off. Clinton just handed McCain a forum to trot out and make like he is rescuing the world right now.
