Letting an arsonist put out a fire.....
Wasn't Paulson's former firm one of the principal architects of this mess? Have our beloved reps and Senators not even bothered to do a web search?
And just like with FISA, the IWR and everything else, they're going to be bullied into passing this by the same crew that's brought us this unprecedented string of disasters.

The terrorists (at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue) have won!

Most people would check to make sure the crooks are gone, and secure their house. Paulson says we need to put out more stuff to steal.
