3. If McSame has lost Haley Barbour, he's screwed.
The slug governor of MS is a very powerful GOP figure. He's not one to get on the wrong side of if you want Repub support. MS was closer until the Palin pick fired up the social conservatives. If McSame disses Barbour and the state, MS could come back closer. I'd be shocked if Obama won the state but it may force McSame to spend some bucks to defend it and cost him in some donations.
