Wonkette Gets It Right: McCain Campaigns During "Suspension"
http://wonkette.com/403009/mccain-suspending-campaign-by-campaigning-more

The old gimmick McCain loves is to run standard dirty hyper-partisan campaigns, funded completely by lobbyists (who also literally manage his campaigns). Then, every few weeks, he does some showboat bullshit about being “above politics” or whatever, and an ever-decreasing number of political reporters briefly note this stunt, and then it’s all totally forgotten again.

3. I'm repeating myself, but I just can't help myself
it fits in this thread so well.

McCain has suspended his campaign the same way Normie Coleman did after Wellstone was killed.

Norman announced he would suspend his campaign until after the memorial service the following Tuesday. Then he managed to spend the next several days on every morning and political show, both local and national, talking about how he suspened his campaign. The interview on one of the shows (either Good Morning America or Today) where he stood in front of a small plane was especially touching. :puke:

5. That stunt alone should keep him from getting reelected
(it should have kept him from being elected in the first place).

10. question his "stability"
is it stable to go running off on some don quixote quest without having the correct information?

whether it's snap decisions (Palin pick), running off at the mouth (I'd fire SEC), or running off to DC like mighty mouse "here I come to save the day" or underdog "Have no fear, underdog is here" and then the game playing with yes, I'll debate, no I won't, I will but not if_____...

jesus on toast - somebody rein this guy in - he's all over the place and has worse attention deficit syndrome than a weasel on speed

on second throught - don't rein him in - let him go hog wild and implode

13. Tweety called McLiar's stunt "razzle dazzle".
Every time McLiar is losing he conjures up some "razzle dazzle" to deflect that he is a loser.
