There are still 5 reasons to vote for Democrats

• Separation of science and religion


• Gay rights


• Fighting racism


• Condoms instead of abstinence


• Abortion rights

I was hoping for more, like health care reform, ending the Iraq war and preventing future wars of aggression, prosecuting our homegrown war criminals, or wresting power away from our corporate overlords.

Silly me.

Anybody have other REALISTIC expectations?

That's probably the most important reason to vote for Democrats this fall.

I like to concentrate on this when the Democrats we have act like fools -- they're still better than the alternative.
