It's less than four months till Dr. Condoleezza Rice leaves to accept a position as a senior academic somewhere. She will conduct graduate seminars and show up about half the time. She'll travel to friendly countries and avoid places where they might slap a subpoena on her.
She has kept a low profile this year. I think she's embarrassed at how badly things have turned out. Well, buh-bye, Condi. Don't let the door hit you in the ass.
Edit: missing word

4. Expect every institution that contempletes hiring her |

to face some serious protests now all that war criminal evidence is available. I think Condi should be hired in a shoe store so that the most harms she can do is to torture people's feet.

she is the most competent member of the Bush Administration. They took her on as window dressing since everyone in the administration knew that war was their goal, not diplomacy. She never had a chance. I was hoping she'd get disgusted and walk away from the whole mess but it looks like she has an agenda that doesn't include quitting.

6. The most competent member of the bush administration? |
|
August, 2001 PDB ring a bell? Shopping for shoes while New Orleans drowned ring a bell? And didn't she just recently admit, in writing, that the bush administration condoned torture and she knew it all along? Like attracts like - she belongs in a war crimes trial, just like the rest of those inept clowns.

7. Yeah, pretty sad, isn't it? |

She bought the neoconservative ticket and took the ride. For all her potential she just wound up being window dressing for the administration and the war effort. I hear the Foreign Service is quite a mess these days as well. The way I heard it over the summer was that the Defense Department was really in the driver's seat these days and State has been relegated to a subservient role in most matters.
