Hell with calling the debate a "draw." Obama won the polling . . . He won the debate |
|
Edited on Sat Sep-27-08 02:17 PM by bigtree
Period.
It's bullshit for these media hacks to come on with their own criteria to second guess the polls. If McCain had led the public opinion polls, they would be calling him the victor and ramming that down our throats. McCain's campaign are benefiting from the media's inability to report on anything other than their own cynical, biased opinions.

3. Haven't seen any polling from the rust belt states specifically |
|
which is where the election will be won or lost.
I suspect that opinions there may differ from nationwide polls.

6. McCain's campaign has been coddled by the media from day 1. |
|
It's now to the point of being ridiculous.
The M$M had to be forced to call the McCain campaign on their repeated lies, and they only did that halfheartedly.
That the Palin pick was ever treated like anything but an insulting political move says volumes.
Heck the media have been frozen out and they still can hardly bring themselves to admit when he's made a major gaffe.
If Obama had stumbled the way McCain did last night, they'd be calling him the victor opinion polls or not.

9. This what Jefferey Toobin said on CNN last night |
|
He said that it didn't matter what talking heads thought but what is being said by people at home and how that grows one way or the other over the next couple of days.
When they poll this early next week, I betcha 60%+ of American will be saying that Obama won.

|
voting by the public.
Have Rethugs bought ads today saying that McPOW won the debate - as they did before the debate.

14. this kind of prattle from them can actually drive the debate polls down |
|
I remember how they revisited the question of whether Kerry won his debate after initial polls showed a majority saying he'd won, after they'd talked them down for 24 hrs..

12. Kinda what Pat Buchanan was saying last night. |
|
Tweety too i think. Pat was of course saying he thought McCain won slightly on points, he also admitted he has been wrong before. He also stated the people watching will ultimately decide who won in the next few days.
