I think Obama should attack McCains mental stability and anger management problem |
|
Towards the end of the debate last night when Obama said that McCain didn't recall that Spain was an Ally, McCain could be heard muttering "horseshit, thats's horseshit" while Obama was talking.
I think Obama should bring it up at one of his rally's or during the next debate and infer that he was not in control of his anger. I also think by pointing out that a man with his foreign policy experience forgetting such important facts, might be suffering the onset of some type of age related mental condition. I'd also call him on not looking Obama in the eyes, ask him why, out right, are you avoiding eye contact with me Senator? Of course this would have to be done with great concern for McCain's well being, but people would get a message.

1. I disagree. Perhaps a surrogate could broach this subject, but Obama has |
|
far too much class, and the media would have a field day with a comment like that.

2. Consider that Obama does not "attack" it, but lays it out for all to see. That's what he was doing |

3. Tweety said something about this more than once last night. |
|
It looks like it would be very easy for the corporate media to chime in.

4. Yeah, but that's not really Obama's style |
|
He seems to use run on positive energy and knows how to deflect and redirect nevative energy away from himself and back at it's sender. That keeps him free of the negative spiral which is eating Palin & McCain from the inside.

7. I know he likes to play nicely with others |
|
but listening last night, I kept hearing him say "Senator McCain is right. He said it so often I found my self wondering; why would anyone thinking of voting for McCain change his mind, when even his opponent is agreeing with him?

10. I guess his tactic was to agree |
|
while his strategy was to surpass McCain, which he clearly did. That's the nice thing, Obama really does distinguish between tactics and strategy. His strategy is to win, and his tactic is not to get caught in the fray.
I know there are other approaches -- I'm a bit of a hot head, and used to get quite tangled in winning every point in an argument. I really like the way Obama can rise above the noise and focus on what really matters.
I thought he came off seeming like, by far, the bigger man. Why else did McCain need to belittle him?

Obama could come off looking like the bad guy here. I think there are plenty of issues-related things he can hammer McCain on, without going down the road you suggest.

6. that would be the work |
|
of a 527. Obama should just continue to hammer McCain on the economy and not helping the middle class.

9. Couldn't disagree more |
|
The media would latch onto even a whiff of such a statement emanating from anywhere near the Obama campaign. It's best left to surrogates who are free to point out McAnus' anger management problems. It would have negative repercussions even among Barack Obama's supporters if he commented on that topic.

The key to winning with grace is to position your opponent into hanging their self. Attacking McShit will only backfire after a while.

12. Why waste energy pointing out something that's so glaringly obvious that |

all of the pundits commented on it?
In fact, the more Obama treats McCain with respect and kindness, the more the spotlight shines on McCain when he doesn't respond in kind.
