Poll question: Playing the cards your dealt
This is just for fun. Decribe below the cards you feel you were dealt in life.

3. Well then
full house -- growing up: wonderful parents, trrific fun siblings, lived in the same house all my childhood, went to very good public schools, always had enough food, clothes, could ride bikes or afford gas to get places, lots of space to run & play, lots of time to read and day dream, not much money, but a sense that we had family.

as an adult: terrific sweet capable partner, word's best kids, safe neighborhood, lots of space, part time work doing domething interesting, not much money, not many possessions, not many worries

Lord, I should have made it a royal flush! ( I feel ashamed to write all this...but it's good to stop and take stock)

4. I understand
I've always described my life as being like Wally and the Beaver (Leave it to Beaver)

Wonderful parents, great neighborhood growing up with lots of kids, never wanted, but not rich by any means.

I said I was dealt a straight, at birth, but now I'm holding a full house.... a darn good hand, but room for improvement.
