Help the poor? Ha! That sounds like some silly shit Jesus would say, money is the root of all happiness, and you must have uncountable millions in your portfolio before you can reach true Nirvana. And when times get real hard, lean on the poor, afterall, they have all the money.

Before we cave in to the right wingers, we say "we just need to get this one little thing done - cause it is such an emergency - and then we can really help the poor so don't talk about them right now." After the cave in, the problem is solved so no one talks about the poor anymore.

It is called a "bailout" because our representatives keep bailing out on us.
