4. If Al Gore was president on 9/11, there would have been |
|
hearings and the 9/11 Truthers would have been brought in as experts on MIHOP. Gore and the Democrats would have been held totally responsible for 9/11 and he would have been impeached and Lieberman made president, a frightening thought.
If he had not been impeached, Gore would not have won a second term, not after 9/11.
The only reason Bush is in office is because the Democrats lack the spine and balls that the Republicans have in abundance. The Democrats believe all of that bi-partisanship crap that the Republicans view as weakness. There is absolutely no way a Democrat would have gotten by with illegal wiretapping, the PATRIOT Act, invading Iraq just to name a few. Absolutely no way.
It's time the Democrats start behaving like an OPPOSITION party or else we are due for complete Republican rule.

9. If Gore had been President on 9/11, it would not have happened because |
|
our outgoing and incoming administrations both knew it was coming and had the date down to within a week. The outgoing Clinton Administration gave the incoming bu$h administration a thick report on the terrorist threat. They all knew and the bu$h administration did nothing. bu$h/cheney needed this for their invasion of Iraq to bail out Saudi Arabia's oil shortage.

6. Would've been impeached for 9/11, |
|
for Katrina, for outing a known CIA agent, for politicizing the Justice Dept., for objectively making us less safe (regardless of what McCain and even Obama said), and last but not least- the Iraq war. Any one of these things would have initiated impeachment hearings, and rightly so. But impeachment, is so...DRASTIC don't you know. We can't make a scene.
