I can't imagine why. Just out from AP:

"Despite the changes made during an intense week of negotiations, the heart of the program remains President Bush's original idea: spend billions of taxpayer dollars to buy mortgage-backed securities whose value has plummeted."

On this same page is a picture of Reid, Pelosi, and Frank smiling widely. Guess who's plan this will be billed as? Also in the article, notice Obama is quoted as saying the plan is necessary, but McCain is nowhere to be found.
