NBC's Todd asserted as fact that McCain "pulled the plug on his campaign for two days"

Ignoring all evidence to the contrary, NBC's Todd asserted as fact that McCain "pulled the plug on his campaign for two days"

Summary: NBC's Chuck Todd asserted as fact that Sen. John McCain "pulled the plug on his campaign for two days." But Todd did not note that following McCain's September 24 announcement that he was going to suspend his campaign, McCain campaign ads continued to run; that his advisers repeatedly attacked Sen. Barack Obama on cable news networks; or that McCain gave interviews with the three broadcast networks.

3. Frank Rich said today that Huffington Post bloggers were manning
the phones calling McCain offices to find any that has shut down and couldn't.

5. Chuck Todd is unbelievable how he supports McCain so much. Even the
way he is skewing the polls more and more to McCain's favor for whatever reason. He wasn't this way at first but about the time MSNBC made the changes with Keith and Tweety he was already moving that way. You have of course little David who we know does whatever the MSNBC gods tell him to.

Did you note how when O'Reily and Rush complained about the ad they ran on McCain's cancer and for him to release his health records, MSNBC apparently jumped and took the ad off. So does Rush and O'Reily run MSNBC now.

8. "He wasn't this way at first ..."
A few years ago I used to edit transcripts for the cable news stations, including Brit Hume's Special Report. During the last election Todd was always on Hume's show, just as happy as can be. I was surprised to see him on MSNBC and knew eventually he'd start skewing the polls. He's such a putz.

6. Well then, either Chuck Todd has no idea what he's talking about, or he's
purposely covering for McNasty. I'm gonna have to go with the later, and guess that GE-TV corporate masters are telling their squawking heads to go easy on McNasty. I read yesterday about two lies McNasty squawkers told to David Shuster and both went unchallenged and uncorrected.

7. So with most of America against the Robber Baron Bailout, John McCain made it happen?
By all means, let McCain take all the credit he wants on this one. The American people are very unhappy about it.

And if I were Obama, I would make sure that I voted only AFTER John McCain voted on the bailout.
