Republicans are done, the Dems have DINO's and the progressives/ mainstreet/ regular Joe is getting royally screwed.. We'll take Obama, Dean, Kucinich, Sanders, and a few other's and move accross the street.

The people who got America into this economic mess must not get off scot-free, nor can they even allowed to get off "comfortably."
Because of their greed, America will face hardship for years -- if not decades -- to come, and they must be made to shoulder the burden of their irresponsible actions.
And if our politicians refuse to place the bulk of the burden on these reckless individuals, then they will face the wrath of the people.

I'm done talking to them. I've said everything I had to say, repeatedly, over the last 2 years.
I don't need to hear any more rhetoric from them. Their actions will suffice, and mine will respond.

No public hearings, Nancy? No period for public comment? No emergency constituent meetings in the districts?
What the hell were you thinking Nancy?

13. I don't know about "saying" anything. For Pelosi, I'm thinking more like pie in the face. |
|
However, if my Dem Congressman votes for this bill, I will let him know in no uncertain terms that I will do everything possible to defeat him for re-election. Same with my Dem senator, who won't be up for re-election until 2010. My Repug senator, no problem -- he's up for re-election this year, and I'm already determined to see him go down.
I've already written and called my Congressman repeatedly this week, and told him that I will work to oust him if he votes for this -- although it would break my heart because I really like the guy, whom I've met with and conversed with personally, and he's done a lot of good work over the 32 years he's been in the House.
Even so, I consider this bailout the line in the sand that, if crossed, automatically earns you a kick to the outer darkness, no matter how much I love you.
