Palin Debate Drinking Game
Here are the Rules - You have to take a drink every time Palin:

. references how you can see Russia from Alaska and calls it "experience"

. winks or gives a thumbs up to the audience

. says a world leader's name, two drinks if it's pronounced correctly.

. says any of these words/phrases: Alaska, Bridge to Nowhere, job creation, Washington elite/establishment, media elite, corporate greed, pitbull, lipstick, or maverick

. leaves off a trailing "g" - takin', leavin', changin', etc.

. Any time Palin answers a question, and someone at your party blurts out "WTF is she talking about?"

. When Palin claims that Washington's problems can be solved by small town know how and common sense: Drink a Labatt Blue as you read up on how to become a Canadian citizen.

. When Palin claims she said "Thanks but no thanks" to the Bridge to Nowhere: Demand a new drink from your hosts, say "thanks but no thanks," and then when no one's looking, take it anyway, then claim you never wanted it.

. When Palin recounts putting the governor's jet on eBay: Auction off a beer to your friends

. When Palin insists that governing a small town in Alaska is in fact experience: Give your friend a shot glass of beer when he/she asks for a pint and insist it's the same thing.

. When Palin talks about being the most popular governor in the country: Go to a room by yourself, realize you're the most popular person in the room, then finish your drink.

1. After the Debate Drinking Game
Sometimes the "show" after the "show" is just as entertaining...

. large drink when a blatherhead says "she did much better than expected" or "I think this dispels any doubts that she would be ready to lead" (or to be commander 'n chief)

. shot and a beer for any scrambly groping for any answer which was coherent

. two shots everytime Biden is refered to as "patronizing", "condensending", "sexists" or "elitist"

. 6 pack for every mention of Joe Six-Pack (or reference to being in touch with real americans)

. a double when a statement by Biden is referred to as a gaffe (doesn't matter if it was or not)

. play spin the bottle when blatherheads play spin the answer

. hand a guest a glass of water instead of a beer when a blatherhead says "I think what she was saying was _______". Tell the guest "I think what you were really asking for a glass of water"

. lay down under a keg, open the tap and let the beer flow for every "Palin won the debate" reference

3. here is my Mantra about this...
From Beginning-less Samsara in this and other lives i have unwittingly committed many non-virtues ar caused others to do do the the same.

Bewildered by the confusion of my own ignorance, i have rejoiced in my own and others non-virtue.

seeing these mistakes i declare all this to you Protectors from the bottom of my Heart.

alcohol is am insidious addiction, if someone were to drink a 12 pac.. they could be arrested on the way to work, etc. or if tested at work lose their job, my place of work has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy and has recently fired 2 people who drank the nite before

as a recovering alcoholic that wasted more than half my life and health in 25 years of looking for an excuse to play such games, lost my family, friends.. this really isn't funny.

4. I don't drink but I has a question which I imagine has been asked many times.
But why does palin have the accent she does? That is not an Alaskan accent is it? I have heard people up there talk and never noticed them sounding like her. She was born in Ohio, right? Was that Southern Ohio and did her parents speak like that? Just wondering. Somebody educate me. :)

By the way, I am from southern Illinois and use to speak with a sort of southern accent. I had my daughter when I lived in NYC and everyone loved that she spoke with the same accent. We left there before she was five, but before that the little Latina girl with the soft southern accent got a lot of attention.

But palin's accent is not soft. She reminds me of some people I know that I swear they use to shout from mountain top to mountain top. They were my friends, but when they hollered (and yes they hollered) down the street at me in my hometown days, I wanted to hide. Instead I turned and found them in the distance and waved. :7

7. It comes from all the time in Alaska--it's a modified form of Canadian accent.
You hear people in Canada talk like that all the time...although not necessarily as loudly or gratingly.

8. Whenever she says "six-pack" you have to drink one (six-pack, that is!)!
You'll be toast half way through the debate!
