Palin's diction was driving her nuts and she was ranting (or should I say rantin'?) that she would never have gotton away with speaking like that even in grade school. Petty, yes, but Mom's vote is a sure thing anyway so if she wants to go off on this sort of thing, I really don't care. Actually, I'm hoping that many elderly ladies, whose grade school teachers were strict about enunciation are having fits over this and think, like my mother, that Palin doesn't sound very bright. (And the cutesy crap wasn't playing well with the Old One either.)
