I think Palin said "nookyular" on purpose
It was a subtle "shout out" to Bush voters, saying "Hey, you want a candidate who you can relate to because they have a room temperature I.Q.? Well, I'm one of them!"

Stupidity is a virtue to Republicans these days.

4. The dumbing-down of America. Gore Vidal was just on Air America
and he talked about it. Chomsky mentioned the "guy you'd like to have a beer with" persona pushed by the PR media machine of the Rethugs.

6. We live in an Idiocracy. I wouldn't put it past her handlers
I don't think SHE has the wit or wisdom to do ANYTHING like that on her own, but there are advisers of hers who would consider that a solid strategery.

9. She sounded a lot like bu$h most of the debate...
See this thread by tpsbmam posted yesterday.

It is freaky how the two are interchangeable.

12. And what was up with her winking?
Dear Gaia, does the woman not know how to act or compete in national politics, or did she just overdo the folksy act her handlers told her to put on?
