What reason(s) would George Bush & company have for ensuring Bin Laden escaped? |
|
I figure they needed to keep the terrorist threat going until we could come up with an excuse to invade Iraq. What's your thinking?

17 families run the world and we're talking about two of them ( the Bin Laden's through the house of Saudi). Both have boys that are A holes; so they call it a draw. Catching Bin Landen wasn't needed, so he was used as a boggy-man. The prize for the neocons was always Iraq; oil and bases to dominate the mid east. All backfired on them with Rumsfield with a war on the cheap and "miss-underestimating" the culture and determination of those they wanted to dominate. Wasn't the first time this has happened, ask the French and Britt's.........I may be wrong , but that has always been my take on this.

Now the capture is moot, there is too much evidence that OBL died a few years ago, which would account for the hysterical forged tape the Gov's drug out to prove we needed to be afraid all over again. Everytime some guy in the Middle East fires a gun, it's a "terrorist attack".

in the New Yorker - that bin Laden's escape from Tora Bora was more or less assisted or at least ignored by the US. As usual the story died and went nowhere.

and the lovely "friendship" the BFEE has with the bin Ladens and other important Saudis. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlyle_GroupOh! And because Unca Dick said to do it that way because bin Laden was not responsible for 9/11. http://thinkprogress.org/2008/09/10/seventh-anniversary-white-house/http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnR1QxYNGNo

I have ALWAYS believed this since I first heard his name, long before Bush was elected. He's probably on the payroll to make scary vids and tapes whenever the PTB want them.

Alive and on the lam he can be used to scare up votes, boost militarism, expand authoritarianism, sanction illegal wiretapping, all sorts of nasty stuff that wingnuts have always dreamed of.
Dead, not so much.
