7 Palin aides to testify in abuse-of-power probe -- Sarah and Todd still obstructing justice
Monday, Oct 6, 2008

Seven aides to Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin have reversed course and agreed to testify in an investigation into whether the Republican vice presidential nominee abused her powers by firing a commissioner who refused to dismiss her former brother-in-law.

There is no indication, however, that Palin or her husband will now agree to testify in the legislative inquiry . . .

Lawmakers subpoenaed seven state employees to testify in the inquiry but they challenged those subpoenas. After a judge rejected that challenge last week, the employees decided to testify, Alaska Attorney General Talis Colberg said.

Democratic state Sen. Hollis French, who is managing the investigation, said that, following the court ruling, he again asked Palin and her husband, Todd, whether they planned to testify.

"We've had no response," French said Sunday.

2. Troopergate
I can't help thinking we get a two-fer here. She is steadily becoming a millstone for McCain, and when they lose, she gets to go back to Alaska, and go to jail. How is that a bad thing? They are really rolling the dice on this one.

5. The more important case is the Worker's Comp. one.
That is actual obstruction of a Law.

7. Ah, but that would be a "political act"
Can't do that until the election's over. How I despise this creature. A fucking walking talking walkin' talkin' Chatty Cathy Doll lacking depth beyond preprogrammed talking points or even normal human curiosity and imagination. Never had a passport until July of last year? I won't dwell too long on that as many reading this might not have one. But how many of them are applying for (potentially) the CIC job?
