Here comes the MSM spin on 'fellow prisoners': 'McCain, Obama flub lines'
Un-freakin-believable. From the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:
http://community.post-gazette.com/blogs/earlyreturns/archive/2008/10/08/mccain-obama-flub-lines.aspx
Obama supporters are noting McCain's malaprop when he said "my fellow prisoners" instead of "my fellow Americans" at the rally in Bethlehem today. But is it really any worse than Obama saying he was "green behind the ears" last night in Nashville? Seems to be confirmation that he's some kind of alien, as McCain has more or less said.

1. Maybe he had just looked at Sarah and was thinking, "I'm a prisoner of love"
I thought I heard him sigh a little just before he said it.

7. it's either "green horn" or "wet behind the ears"
I think he mixed his metaphors.

10. I think he was mixing "green around the gills" with something
y'know, gills on fish sort of look like ears.

Plus I think it was freudian, him being nauseated having to spend so much time on that stage with McCain.

12. Now Come On Here - Green Behind The Ears Is In No Way Equivalent To
"My Fellow Prisoners".

Obama just mixed metaphors. McCain's was a Freudian Slip or worse yet a Senior Moment.

5. ??? Obama's statement was a combination of being wet behind the ears
and being green. It's a malaprop that I've made myself on occasion.

How does McCain's gaffe qualify as a malaprop? It's a combination of "my fellow Americans" and...what?

9. If McCain is having flashbacks it would be dangerous to have him
in the White House.
He could think he was back in Hanoi and set off a nuke.

17. I Kind Of Agree With Them. Petty 'Gotchas' Over Obvious Mispeaks Is Worthless And Dumb IMHO.
Far more important things to be criticizing.
