Glenn Beck: Hillary is stereotypical bitch.
From the March 15 edition of Premiere Radio Networks' The Glenn Beck Program:

BECK: I don't want to sound like the old ball-and-chain guy, but Hillary Clinton cannot be elected president because -- am I wrong in feeling, am I the only one in America that feels this way? -- that there's something about her vocal range. There's something about her voice that just drives me -- it's not what she says, it's how she says it. She is like the stereotypical -- excuse the expression, but this is the way to -- she's the stereotypical bitch, you know what I mean? She's that stereotypical, nagging, , you know what I mean? And she doesn't have to be saying -- she could be saying happy things, but after four years, don't you think every man in America will go insane? Is it just me? I mean, I know this is horrible to say, but I mean it not -- I would say this if she were Condi Rice and she sounded like that. Condi Rice doesn't have that grate to her voice. You know what I need to do? I need to talk to a vocal expert, because there is a range in women's voices that experts say is just the chalk, I mean, the fingernails on the blackboard. And I don't know if she's using that range or what it is, but I've heard her in speeches where I can't take it.

BECK: Am I alone? Dan ? Have you noticed that about her?

ANDROS: Oh my gosh, she could be talking about how she's giving every American a million dollars, and I'm hearing, "Could you take out the garbage now, please?"

BECK: That really is what it is. I just, I don't -- I thought it was just me. And maybe it is.

BECK: I'm sorry for being such a pig. But please, America. Please. I don't think I could do it for four years. I mean, sure the country is going to go to hell in a handbasket, but could we make this about me for a second? I just don't think I could take it from her.

BECK: You know Khalid Shaikh Mohammed has confessed to 9-11 and trying to kill President Carter. Why would you try to kill President Carter? He's on your side, for the love of Pete. No, he -- that hasn't been confirmed? We should check into it because I read it on a blog someplace. Why would you -- if Jimmy Carter's son could just be elected president, then all of us in talk radio could get on and say, "We're only going to war because Jimmy Carter's son wants to repay these people." "Daddy. They tried to kill Daddy."

You heard it here first, from a stereotypical right wing asshole.

2. well, I, for one, am glad they brought his use of the B word to light.
if this doesn't get him kicked off CNN, NOTHING will.

what's he going to get away with next, calling her the C word?

6. one other thing, I took CNN Headline News off my remote because his
presence there in the evening is so ubiquitous (either him or Nancy Grace) that I couldn't stand chancing upon his disgusting visage

8. There is that. I wonder if enough people watch CNN to protest?
You know their numbers are tanking, just like all of the whore media.

11. there was a thread here a week or two back, regarding his numbers,
and it said his audience had quadrupled, or something

I don't remember the details, but he was apparently doing well enough for ABC to hire him as their 'mainstream America' commentator, or somesuch other hogwash

I sure hope they've been made aware of this...not that they're a whole lot better than Fox, these days, with Mark Halperin at the helm of the News Division

have you seen Eric Boehlert's commentary on him, Mark Harris, their book (which just SLOBBERS over Karl Rove's political acumen), and that horrible organ of Repub propaganda, "The Note?"

his book, Lapdogs, goes into great detail about ABC, Halperin, and The Note. well worth reading

20. My first thought was 'No he is'
I can't stand the guy. I heard the Carter attack and was incensed. I liked President Carter. And Democrats are not terrorists. Ran over and turned off the radio. I'm glad this post is here so I can vent. I don't like to mention that I've heard him. So I'd never start my own post about him. It's embarrassing for others to know and someone might understandably judge me wrongly. OK, I am ashamed for anyone to know. He looks like a twin to limpballs and kkkarl rolled into one. Is that look genetic right-wing evolutionary look? No wonder the Fundamentalists hate evolution. Big blubber boy. Did I mention that Mr. Hateful is a good Mormon. I wonder how his bigotry and snotty divisiveness will reflect on, Mitt Romney? I believe they have an LDS revelation stating that in the Latter Days the United States will call upon the Church to pull this country's ass out of the fire, so to speak. Hate to see Glenn ruin a fine prediction like that one, with his big mouth. Mitt might have had a chance. It would be only fair for a Republican to be elected to clean up the mess the Party made. The Democrats will be blamed for everything gone wrong anyway if we inherit the fallout from this administration. I hate you Glenn. Do I sound enough like Hillery to make you wince? Hope so. You are vile funny boy. screeeeechhhhh

one or more of the sponsors of this asshole. If we can get them to tell one of the sponsors to pull support from CNN til the ditch him we might get enough to get him fired.

14. The worst part about Beck is how he's constantly apologizing for saying the same old shit.
You can almost hear him strangling his inner adult before he lets fly with his latest juvenile shit. It's like he wants to be mature, but just doesn't have the self control to pull it off.

21. man's greatest fear- to be dominated by a woman? you know winger men seethe with anger
anger at the thought of it. unfortunately, wingnut women are happy to 'stay in their place' and progressive men and women aren't real 'progressive' on this issue either. witness the latest polls showing that fewer people, both men and women, would vote for their party's woman presidential candidate than african-american candidate. it's great that the african-american numbers were as high was they were, but when you figure that women make up over half the population, and still the number of people who would vote for them was still so low, is an indication that people have some serious problems with women in authority. fact is, these guys were probably just saying what a lot of men believe - they have this generic, stereotypical idea of a 'bitch' in their head, and it's easy to put any woman they don't like for whatever reason into that group.

23. Sounds like Beck has a personal problem
When I criticize Hillary, I like to point to what specifically bothers me about her, especially the way she hides her genuine self behind the packaged candidate/product. I could also point to specific policy pronouncements, such has leaving troops in Iraq beyond the time they really out to be out (which, as far as I am concerned, is right now).

But Mr. Beck thinks she has a grating voice. How earth shaking. How deep. How astute.

He could criticize her reluctance to take a solid position on anything until the polls tell her 60% of the public already thinks that way, or phrase it in a way that is clear instead of being the focus group fed Rorschach candidate. He could criticize her position on this or that issue that differs from his own ideas.

Oh, but her voice is grating. Wow. Now, that's profound.

I'm sure Mr. Beck is expecting a Peabody Award for that kind of insight.
