Does religion infiltrating government mean that religion failed on its own?
Does it mean that religion was unable to attract enough people, and unable to control those people's thinking enough, so that religion has to exert control and power over the public, including people who are not members of the religion? Is religion's infiltration of government essentially a bailout of religion, which failed/is failing on its own?

2. You can say that about any form of organization
Which is all religion is anyway. There isn't anything magical about religion. Which is why it seems odd that we specifically build a wall between the state and the church, but not the state and every other form of organization that isn't the state. Hell, the state funds other forms of organization. Religion is just a story wrapped around a centrally organized authority. Just like a government, a corporation, a think tank, a consumer group, etc, etc. Would the US Government fail if it didn't exert control and power over more people? Would it even exist in the first place?

That's why there would have to be one form of organization for humanity at some point. Two or more organized efforts wastes energy. It's very inefficient. Don't worry though, there will be one organization that attracts everyone, able to control all thought, and exert control and power over every aspect of life, including life which are not members of our system. We'll call it, Corpogovernligiontank.

those that are trying to force their religious laws on us all have failed to even have faith in what they preach. They now believe they are gods.... so in escence, they have failed.

4. History seems to suggest the answer is yes. In the old days, you were killed for not converting.
You were put to death. The other option was converting and complying with whatever the authorities wanted you to do, such as executing gay people and pagans and Jews and so on.
