Tina Fey's at Fault for Sarah Palin Slide -- Washington Times says

Now, the conservative Washington Times newspaper claims that runningmate John McCain’s recent slip in the polls is due to Fey’s hilarious impersonations. Of course, Palin’s controversial views on religion, abortion, rape and her "Troopergate" ethics violations have nothing to do with it, not to mention McCain's erratic views on the economy.

The Washington Times, citing two independent polls, claims to have unearthed a so-called "Tina Fey effect," which has turned supporters off the Alaska governor and her running-mate. "Presidential impersonators do influence elections, and in this one, Tina Fey is well on her way to ruining Sarah Palin’s political career,” Political scientist Jerald Podair tells the equally conservative New York Post.

“In a political culture that takes its cues from popular culture, a good impersonator may be worth a million votes,” he added. "The parodies may have done a bit of damage.”

5. Yes, by looking just like her
And repeating her gibberish word for word, Fey has destroyed Palin.

9. The damage was done by the recognition factor.
Tina Fey's impersonation was truthful and everyone who saw it, knew it. Including Palin.

17. Yes, because of her, many people heard Palin's own words
who otherwise would have just gone by whatever the media told them to believe.

19. I think these mentally challenged fools need to research cause and effect
If Palin wasn't such a joke to begin with, Tina Fey wouldn't have stepped up to grab that low hanging fruit.
