I think the Lakeville, MN. woman was a plant to boost McCain's image issue
and to make the appearance that McCain has turned his attitude around. If indeed she is paid by the McCain campaign for work at the local headquarters and her question was most likely specifically picked, McCain could do his "response" to make it appear that he is now a good guy. Same thing Norm Coleman is doing in MN. right now. The reason I think it is definitely false is that they still do not fire nor reign in people that are putting out lies and slimy commercials. It is really very simple to see this yet Chris Matthews and Brokow got all mushy over McCAin.

7. I HADN'T THOUGHT OF THAT
It probably was- but, the woman didn't sound or look like she was very intellegent. You know this whole thing has reached a point of no return. Palin started this mess; I guess in Alaska the population is so small, she has no clue what the rest of the United States is about. This woman is just not fit to be in a federal position. Alaska is crooked any way.

17. I thought the same thing ... and she flubbed her lines.
She couldn't remember what she was supposed to call Obama. Then when she did, she just let the line die there -- giving McCain his opening. It was very, very bad theater.

CLOSING THE LOOP
We've now got video from the front of that woman at the McCain rally on Friday. And this view makes it clear that while she said "Arab terrorist" in the subsequent interview, she clearly only said "Arab" on the stage with McCain ...

13. Nope, she is 100% real.
Someone got an interview with her after. She is a very confused old woman who, I'm guessing, has been shown all sorts of ridiculous webpages and told it's the truth by other morons in the McCain campaign.

15. That's what I heard on AM 950 (local progressive radio for non-Minnesotans)
though, I wouldn't put it past McCain & Company to have taken advantage of her confusion and encouraged her to ask that question. I have some remorse for all the mean thoughts I had about the poor woman as he became clear that she really didn't know what she was doing.

18. Doesn't take anything special for Brokaw to get mushy over McCain.
Brokaw mistakes McCain for someone from his father's greatest generation. Actual POW. OMG!

Keep your ears up when Brokaw is on and has a chance to comment on McCain...its unbelievable.
