Bloody figures.. As a black woman, I was more than bit suspicious when she described her attacker as a "dark skinned black man". Sounded too much like the typical race based accusation. Reminded me too much of the Susan Smith crap.

2. I don't know of anyone who bought this crap...
but it makes me angry. You don't LIE about something like this, especially given the history of this country, and the atmosphere the McCain campaign has created in stoking the embers of race.

And yeah, I know about the 'dark skinned blacks are way more scary' meme. I'm so thoroughly disgusted right now. The girl is probably nuts, but 'grown ups' used this for their own craven reasons, and that makes me sick.

4. That bytch ain't that young. She was well aware of what she
was doing. I wonder what the campaign promised her for taking this chance and I also wonder if she'll start singing like a canary when she finds out what she's facing?

7. Yeah, I know...
good point! I'm 45, so anyone younger than 38 is like a kid to me. My daughter was mugged for real last year, when she was 20. She was pretty messed up physically, and had burns on her feet and back from being dragged a few blocks. On a lighter note, she got her purse back. And she initially denied medical assistance due to lack of insurance, but ended up taking it.

I hope the McCain campaign is not involved. For one thing, I will NEVER support McCain if the 'pubs manage to steal this. The divisive crap is unforgivable. My opinion is that the girl did not need someone to approach her. She appears to have issues, and her little lie got out of hand due to the exploitive nature of the repulsive McCain campaign.
